Easy pressure cooker roast beef
This pressure cooker pot roast recipe is a real time-saver and allows you to make the most tender and delicious!
This recipe can be made with any roast cut beef. Boneless Chuck / Shoulder loin (without bone) and English Roast (Shoulder Pot-Roast, Boneless) will work well with this recipe
I used Boneless Chuck / Shoulder loin (boneless).
First, season the meat with salt and pepper and sear the roast on all sides. This prevents the umami of the meat from leaking out. You will want to add minced garlic and anything add the flavor. (I added minced garlic)
After you see all sides forms nice golden crust , add water and cover the meat. At this time, it's good idea to add vegetables that enhance the aroma, such as celery, onions, carrots, etc.
Bring the cooker up to full pressure. Reduce heat to low, maintaining full pressure, and cook for 20-30 minutes.Let the float valve go down on its own.
voila〜。
Oh, I forgot to take a picture, so the cut is different than the one on the top picture, but the finished roast beef looks like this.
When I came to the United States, I was hesitant to buy a pressure cooker, but when I came across this recipe, I'm really glad I got it. It's really a time saver!!
